My name is Rowan (row·uhn). My pronouns are she/her. I am a graphic designer specializing in motion graphics, brand identity, and illustration. I began my creative career as a freelance graphic designer, commonly working alongside my life partner, Zyrille, on product and branding projects. I also had the pleasure of collaborating with notable clients such as Snapchat and the Boston Celtics, among others.
After a few years, I realized that while I enjoyed the flexibility of freelance work, I missed the diversity of knowledge and constructive feedback that come with being part of a team — but mostly, I missed the critiques! As much as I cherished the freedom of freelancing, I found myself craving the energy of a buzzing team and those creative brainstorming sessions.
This longing led me to an incredible opportunity as a contract graphic designer at LinkedIn, where I worked for LinkedIn News. There, I immersed myself in crafting templates for department-wide use, breathing life into data with eye-catching visuals, and adding my flair to motion graphics and illustrations for shows such as 'This is Working' and 'Everyday Better.'
